Because of his earlier map-designs for My Guide To, one of the founders of E&W – David Ehrenstråhle, was asked to create a limited poster over Hornstull, a small district in the south of Stockholm. The maps purpose was to enlighten both citizens and tourists in Stockholm about the “New Hornstull” that was built coincidentally as a renovation of the neighborhood, and the new local mall Hornhuset.
The poster was designed as a map with a guide to Hornstull’s 39 most interesting shops, restaurants and cafés. It was printed in a limited edition of 600 pieces, and could only be bought in a few selected shops in Hornstull. The format of the poster is 66x72cm and printed on 170g Rives Tradition paper in Natural White.
The map print was also used on wrapping papers and bags used by stores in connection to Hornstulls centre and the design itself was displayed in a large-scale print outside the entrance of the local metro station.
